In today's face-paced world, more and more people are turning to alternative medicines and therapies to treat ailments, illnesses, and diseases. We live in a time where humanity has lost its way and struggles to live in accordance with the Natural Laws of Creation. These laws govern the entire Universe. They are based on the principles of unity, cause and effect, balance, flow, harmony, and the magnetics of creation itself. Science aims to define these laws and create categorizes and constructs we can understand, manipulate, and control. Spirituality seeks to employ them for the betterment of all.

The Alchemy of Tantra, Yoga, and Shamanism

Alchemy is an Ancient Science and Mystical Art shrouded in Mystery, Esoteric Symbolism, Spiritual Archetypes, Hermetic Teachings, and Magical Practices.

In essence, Alchemy is a process of distillation, purification, and transmutation in pursuit of the primordial essence, the elixir of life, and the Divine Wisdom of the “Philosopher’s Stone.” Alchemical practices were aimed at the extraordinary, turning base metals into gold, creating immortality, actualizing sacred wisdom, distilling the first matter into pure essence.

When we look at the Alchemical Arts as methods for transmutation and purification, we can easily recognize how the processes correlate to the Spiritual Evolution of Human Consciousness. The timeless hermetic adage “as within so without” reveals the greater work of the Alchemist. During this Alchemical Goddess Tantric Priestess Arts YTT we become the Alchemists of our Souls. Our bodies are the laboratory. The elements of fire, water, earth, air, and space all exist within as Shakti.

The inner work is the process of transmuting the lower frequencies, transforming the dense conditioning of our past into the radiant light of the Soul. We become the gold of our pure potential, enlightened by the Divinity within.

In this Journey we dive into the Alchemical Arts through the practices of Yoga, Tantra, Shamanism activating our innate Goddess Magic for healing, transformation, transmutation, and purification. We will explore Myths and Archetypes in conjunction with Spiritual transmutation to liberate mind, body, spirit, and emotions for whole soul activation and liberation.

The Mystical Arts of Yoga, Tantra and Shamanism:

Yoga is a practice to unite Mind, Body, and Spirit in relationship to the Whole. Yoga is a complete system and science for the health of the whole being. Yoga means to Yoke, or unite, the finite to the infinite. Yoga connects us to the Breath of Life, the ever-changing moment, the Dance of the Cosmos, the Tantra of Yin and Yang, Shiva and Shakti, Fire and Flow, Spirit and Matter.

Yoga is an ancient system with roots dating back to Tantra and Shamanism. As an unbroken path of self-awakening and whole soul transformation, yoga gives us the potential to awaken our Divine Nature and Cosmic Consciousness. The principles of Yoga teach us that we are not separate from the Source, but fully held and integrated on all levels of being.

Yoga is a practice that evolved from the roots of Tantra. Tantra is a path of transformation that guides practitioner’s into higher states of awareness with the ultimate goal of Union with the Divine. Union with Source. Union with God as our inherent nature. Samadhi. Nirvana. Liberation. Oneness.

Tantra is the art and science of spiritual expansion and soul liberation. It is a path towards the ultimate freedom, knowing thy Self and Union with the Divine. Tantra is an ancient spiritual science that gave birth to many practices designed to free the practitioner from suffering, harmonize mind, body, and spirit, evolve one’s consciousness beyond limits and egoic constraints, and liberate the soul. Tantra is a process of inner alchemy in which we continually refine and purify the essence of all that we are.

Tantra is the Union of Soul. It is the marriage between the Divine Masculine and Feminine energies of creation, God and Goddess, the Alpha and Omega, Shiva and Shakti, the Fire and the Flow, the Solar and the Lunar powers that exist within all of us. Tantra is the balancing and harmonization of Yin and Yang, Supreme Consciousness (Shiva as Purusha) and Supreme Energy (Shakti as Prakriti), it is the Union of seemingly dual forces, the above and the below, the high and the low, the spiritual and the material, the mundane and the sacred, the dark and the light, the earthly and the cosmic, the human and the divine.

Most of us have been taught that Heaven is a place above and beyond this world. Tantra teaches us that Heaven can be accessed here on Earth, in this lifetime, in your body. It’s a love story between the polarities, or dualities of the Universe. It’s the marriage between opposing, or rather, complimentary forces, a path to the middle ground, a sacred union where two become one.

In Tantra we recognize that everything is sacred and part of the one, infinite, cosmic soul constantly evolving through the processes of life, death, and rebirth. In Tantra we know we are not separate from the Source of All Creation but are one and the same. We hold the Divine Energy of Shakti and the Divine Consciousness of Shiva.

Tantra and Shamanism share common roots and many interwoven branches. Union with Divine forces, from the Cosmic to the Earthly and otherworldly, is at the forefront of these seemingly separate paths. In Tantra we harmonize all aspects of the Self (mind, body, spirit, and emotion) in order to reach states of consciousness to merge, or unite, with spiritual forces, deities, other realms, and the Supreme Being, God and Goddess.

Shamanism, like Tantra, has many branches depending on the cultural origins, yet all share a common thread of core practices. Shamanic practices open doorways to merging with Spirit, working in the unseen realms, journeying for power, wisdom, healing, and beyond. Attaining power and wisdom by accessing other states of consciousness through direct communion with sources beyond the self is the bridge between Tantra and Shamanism.

Hannah Donkersloot

Hannah Donkersloot is the Creator and Founder of Sourced By Soul Mystery School: School of Tantra, Yoga, and the Shamanic Arts. Hannah has been teaching Yoga since 2012 and practicing Universal Shamanism since 2015. She offers Transformational Journeys and Mind, Body, Spirit Retreats for Self Realization, Empowered Living, Soul Expansion and Spiritual Liberation.

Hannah teaches the Spiritual Arts and Sciences as a Certified Mystery School, E-500 RYT Yoga Instructor, Shamanic Practitioner, Energy Healer, Alchemical Priestess, Sacred Dance Facilitator, and Transformational Guide.

She took great interest in everything about me and that appeared to be amazing in the rest of the week (which felt like much longer) for some reason everything that happened in my life at the current moment seemed to fit seamlessly into the yoga experience.

Every morning class was focused on a different chakra and I specifically loved this aspect. Her teachings really deepened my practice and gave me a lot of knowledge to continue learning. I feel like I learned a lot about yoga but more so about myself.

Hannah knows so much about yoga and so many more things and she inspired me on multiple levels. I participated in all three workshops and I loved it. At first it was totally not what I expected. But it was intense and awakened a lot of feelings. During the week I felt a lot of feelings and insights. Which I also needed a few days after to put them into place again. This was a life-changing experience, and I will never forget it.

I would definitely recommend Hannah as a teacher. Because she knows how to guide you on your inner questions and journey.
